About the Role

  • This is a key leadership position that is accountable for efficient and effective operational management of the hospital afterhours.
  • The role supports and encompasses clinical care, planning, implementing and evaluating care practices, policy compliance, processes and services within the hospital.
  • This role reports directly to the Director of Clinical Services

About You

  • To be successful in this role you will be a positive and effective leader who has the ability to motivate others.
  • You will bring extensive clinical skills and experience along with exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • You will thrive in a fastpaced environment and be able to manage your time effectively and support the clinical and nonclinical teams to provide high quality patient centred care.
  • This role will suit both an experience nurse stepping up into leadership or a more experienced clinical manager.

You will also bring;

  • Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse/Midwife
  • Desirable minimum 5 years postgraduate experience within Midwifery and /or Surgical Nursing
  • Demonstrated ability to be an effective role model in the area of clinical practice
  • Sound Computer skills in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Frances Perry House is a fully accredited obstetric and surgical hospital located in the renowned Parkville Biomedical Prescient.
