About the Role


As Vocational Education (VE) Instructor specialized in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, your main tasks include teaching course material, evaluating students, and monitoring their progress in specific school programs. Furthermore, active involvement in the periodic review of course content, development, delivery, instructional methods (including online approaches), and student evaluation techniques is required.


To excel in this role, qualifications include:

  • Effective interpersonal and communication abilities essential for educational and consulting settings.
  • Skills and experience in competency-based evaluation.
  • Capacity to maintain up-to-date vocational competence that aligns with or surpasses the education level being imparted and assessed.
  • Relevant industry experience and sound discipline knowledge.
  • Capability to identify and address learning challenges in students effectively.
  • Team player with constructive and proactive contributions.
  • Proficiency in utilizing pertinent information and communication technologies.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Hold a TAE (TAE40116) Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent; or a higher-level adult education qualification.
  • Demonstrable HVAC-R industry experience.
  • Vocational Competencies
  • Arc License
  • VBA Registration

Note: Appointment is conditional on successful completion of Working with Children and National Police Checks.
