Telemetry Technician

Our Client has an extensive range of pumps, generators and compressors for hire or sale including submersible pumps, sludge and slurry pumps, clean water pumps, bore pumps, high head and high flow pumps, pontoon pumps, silenced pumps, generators, air compressors and associated equipment.

Covering all requirements from general and civil construction, to mine site and dewatering, oil and gas, utilities and power generation.

• The Company has 6,000 dewatering pumps and generators in its hire fleet with a national footprint spanning 12 branches across 5 states and 1 territory and in excess of 450 employees

To carry out the design, development, and maintenance of Telemetry and Instrumentation systems and ensure that project requirements are met.

• Completing contractual obligations and to Identify technical requirements for each project.
• Ensure commissioning of automated pump control and data monitoring systems
• Provide support from commencement to completion of the systems and relevant equipment
• Effective communication
• Provide Technical advice to all relevant divisions
• Adhere to core company values
• Future training maybe required

• Experienced in Linux, SQL, Python
• Current Drivers Licence
• Knowledge with Telemetry systems using SCADA
• Ability to template markup language with JSON and YAML
• Skilled in Source Code Management in Git
• Understanding of Modbus and able to decode registers
• Knowledge of MQTT and Telecommunication concepts
• Experience with distributed network systems, VPN and common network Interfaces
• Ability to draft technical drawings e.g. wiring diagrams and schematics

• Temp to Perm day shift role. 7.00am to 3.00pm Monday to Friday $54 p/hr + Super + bonuses + Potential from 120K+
