The Role:
You will be responsible for delivering top-notch Anaesthesia services, both clinical and non-clinical, showcasing professional leadership by supervising training registrars, medical students, and educating staff members. You will directly report to the Director of Anaesthesia.
The Facility
This hospital serves as the primary referral center for the area, delivering comprehensive cancer care services and cutting-edge medical technology. Boasting 305 beds, including an 8-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU)/High Dependency Unit (HDU), the facility houses four operating theatres and two procedure rooms. The accredited Department offers specialized training, education, and research in various medical fields, such as obstetrics, gynaecology, orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, dental procedures, and sedation for medical procedures. The hospital also provides support for multiple trainees and an Acute Pain Service Nurse.
Requirements:
- Specialist Registration with AHPRA (FANZCA) is a must, or the ability to acquire it
- Alternatively, candidates should have their training assessed by ANZCA and deemed substantially comparable. This opportunity is exclusively for CA Pathway SIMGS.
