About the Role:

  • **St Rita's Primary School is seeking a Tuckshop Convenor to manage the efficient and effective day to day operation of the school tuckshop.


In addition to successfully co-ordinating the running of the tuckshop, you will manage ordering of stock, organisation of volunteers and maintain a clean, hygienic workplace ensuring compliance with all WH&S and Council Regulations.


You must demonstrate:

  • An ability to lead, plan, organise and control the daytoday operations on the tuckshop including finance;
  • Experience in food service and knowledge of nutritional requirements of school aged children;
  • Organisational skills, initiative and enthusiasm
  • Excellent team work, communication and interpersonal skills.

To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

  • hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
