About our school:
Marymount is a co-educational Catholic primary school which caters for over 1000 students and is located on the southern end of the Gold Coast.
We are a predominantly 6-stream school which has an inclusive education policy and is situated on the same campus as Marymount College.

About the role - Administering the retail and book list operations of the school, providing a sufficient range of items at a reasonable cost to the school community, through ordering, inventory and cash control.
Accountabilities
- Establish and monitor routine procedures (Uniform & Bookstore) for the effective and efficient administration and service delivery to meet the needs of the school and school community
- Administer processes including sourcing designs, quotations and samples, stock control, and routine inventory and financial record keeping.
- Assist the Principal and finance team in the preparation and monitoring of the budget
- Order and maintain adequate stock levels.
- Operate point of sale equipment and handle cash when required
- Liaise with suppliers over pricing, placing orders and merchandise quality.
- Coordinate assistant staff when required for busy periods.
- Assist with Main Reception at busy periods when time permits.
- Maintain security, retaining keys and arming and disarming school security systems as required.
- Undertake periodic reporting to the Principal and the finance team on sales, operational performance, design concepts and issues.
- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
