The opportunity
Reporting to the Principal - Sustainability, you will have a varied role with key responsibilities spanning across areas such as:

  • Working with the Asset Management team and portfolio companies to support continuous improvement in the approach and outcomes related to:
  • The management and mitigation of thirdparty risks including modern slavery
  • Community and customer engagement
  • Social impact measurement
  • Diversity and Inclusion (including Indigenous Reconciliation and gender equality)
  • Health, Safety and wellbeing programs
  • Develop and facilitate programs and forums to enable collaboration, education and engagement of Nonexecutive Directors and Portfolio Company management
  • Track and monitor industry trends and key performance indicators relevant to sustainability performance
  • Monitor regulatory and legal conditions in relation to sustainability and assess their impact across the portfolio
  • Develop sustainability precedents, tools, templates, and guides for the Infrastructure team to assist the investment decisionmaking process and asset management

About you


You will have demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience in a similar role with solid experience in developing, managing and implementing social sustainability programs.

You will be degree qualified in a relevant discipline (e.g. business, economics, sustainability, social science or related).

You will also have:

  • Passion for ESG activities and a previous track record of successfully working across complex businesses to deliver measurable social sustainability outcomes.
  • Strong project management skills including the ability to manage multiple deadlines and take ownership of initiatives and implement across the organisation.
  • Strong stakeholder influencing, engagement and management skills including demonstrated ability to create trusted relationships with team members across the entire business at all seniority levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
