We are currently hiring 6 Kitchen Stewards for Compa Canberra, situated at the Canberra Centre.

About the Role

  • Work alongside the chef assisting with food preparation
  • Ensure that the kitchen, storage areas, fridge and freezers are a high level of cleanliness
  • Cleaning of all kitchen equipment, utensils and kitchen surrounds
  • Casual position

Essential Requirements

  • 2 years prior experience in a kitchen environment with knowledge of food hygiene
  • Previous experience in food preparation and cleaning is essential
  • Selfdriven and autonomous whilst being open to direction
  • Personable, well presented, enthusiastic and reliable
  • Hard working, physically fit and reliable able to lift 1015kgs comfortably
  • Have excellent communication skills
- 'Can do' attitude and willingness to learn

**Rates: M-F : $30.10/hr Sat:$36.12/hr Sun:$42.14
