We are currently seeking a Senior SCADA Engineer who will be responsible for development of complex SCADA solutions related to Metso BMH Engineering for product development and customer project delivery.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Responsible in engineering design and development which will typically include preparation of design or development specifications.
SCADA Development for both internal products and bespoke external projects.
Develop and maintain Metso standard product portfolio according to the product roadmap and develop specific solutions for our customers.
Works as part of a team of Control System Engineers.
Coach and mentor the team of Control System Engineers.
Develop new company standards to support productization.

Excellent communication and effective interpersonal skills are required as this role will have frequent interactions with internal / external customers, and suppliers while supporting product development and customer projects.


WHO YOU ARE:
Essential Skills and Experience

Bachelor of Engineering or technology in Electrical / Electronics / Electronics and telecommunication / Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent with a minimum experience of 7 years, a preferred experience of 10 years.

Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
Have significant knowledge of industrial process control design, network architecture and MES/ERP integration.
Strong proficiency in SCADA design and delivery.
Development and implementation of industrial fieldbus protocols.
Factory Acceptance Testing
Bulk material handing process experience.
In Touch, Cimplicity, Factory Talk View SCADA development.
Configuring and troubleshooting industrial controls systems and industrial instrumentation.
SQL development for industrial integration.
Designing process automation solutions for OEM equipment.
Project management.
Plant Historians and Databases.
Engineers Australia membership (or eligible).
