Glenny Kebabs is expanding and we are creating more opportunities for those who LOVE hospitality

We currently operate 4 restaurants in Melbourne's South-east and are in the process of opening more locations

We are currently seeking someone motivated to join our growing team.

The role requires you to have a desire to learn running a successful hospitality venue (including stock control, labour benchmark, COGs, staff training, etc.)

All training is provided so that you have:

  • An ability to create a healthy work atmosphere and providing elite customer service whilst encouraging the team to do the same.
  • Good business awareness for achieving successful performance with proven experience with budgets, wage control, sales and wastage
Tasks involved in the role include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure Glenny Kebabs operates efficiently and profitably while maintaining Glenny Kebabs reputation and ethics.
  • Leading a positive team culture and promoting an inclusive work environment;
  • Lead by example, train your team and make work a place you and your team can enjoy. The venue would
  • Being a point of contact for any suppliers, contractors, employers and employees regarding policies and processes;
  • Store upkeep and maintenance across different locations
  • Providing support in training and compliance
  • Daily health and safety and compliance checks and reports
  • Assisting in store openings
  • Providing daily logístical support (dropping prep to sites)
  • Upkeeping food quality control
  • Minimising food wastage
  • Helping create systems and processes to reduce cogs
  • Acting as an emergency fill in
  • Providing assistance with equipment breakdown
  • POS cash management
  • Daily sales cash management
  • Banking support
  • Ensure the daily and weekly checklists are completed by staff for the venue
  • Overseeing all general day to day operations to ensure everything is in compliance with company policy and standards

  • Oversee staff work and ensure staff are productive and work efficiently;
  • Delegating tasks to staff to ensure efficiency;
  • Overseeing health and safety requirements of the venue and ensuring compliance with this;
  • Weekly rosters;
  • Working with the head office to set appropriate KPIs and leading the staff to achieving these;
  • Inventory upkeep;
  • Ensuring management of all equipment via liaison with Senior Management;
  • Handle customer complaints and refunds;
  • Ensure staff abides by company policies and work with HR if any staff breaches any company policy;

$55,000.00 per year
