What you'll do


Our IT Manager role is a technical leadership role, where you will be the go-to resource for ensuring our internal systems are established, maintained and scalable to achieve a seamless employee experience and ensure we can scale in the future.

We currently house 110 members of staff. As you will own this department, you really get the chance to create it your way. Reporting into the CTO, we are looking


for a leader who can plan and implement IT projects to get the best out of our current systems and make our processes as automated as possible.


We are excited about the future here and currently have benchmarked an ISO accreditation, whilst not directly your responsibility you will have the opportunity to oversee this and work with external/internal resources to ensure our accreditation.


Your day to day:

  • Design and manage on/offboarding processes, delegating admin where appropriate.
  • Manage licensing for 3rd party tools
  • Manage a limited amount of onprem IT equipment including laptops
  • Design, develop and maintain policies and procedures
  • Delivering training programs and workshops for other staff
  • Ensure data security across the organisation
  • Manage contractors and partners who conduct regular external audits, penetration testing, and compliance activities.
  • Regularly report on incidents and scans (internal risk register)
  • Manage L1 employee support calls relating to access requests & device support
  • Maintain L2 camera support staff roster relating to camera system operations, configuration and release management
  • Work with the management team to drive enhancements to Acusensus internal systems.

Qualifications:

What you will bring to the role:

  • Solid stakeholder management skills; we have been managing our systems internally, to make changes you will need strong project management skills and the ability to influence.
- ~5+ years experience of IT leadership experience including a solid background in IT or systems administration.

  • Knowledge of maintaining organisation wide security controls and procedures.
  • Previous experience being in an organisation that went through ISO27001 adoption (desirable)
  • Demonstrated expertise with agile principles and cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Linux experience (preferably Ubuntu) for automated scripts.
  • Google Workspace administration experience including OS device
- management.

  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence and Slack for planning, organising and managing workloads.
  • Experience evaluating, maintaining and procuring IT equipment including the provision of access rights and onboarding/offboarding of staff.
