The purpose of this role is to manage the overall aspects of a farm to produce almonds at the lowest production cost measured as dollars per kilogram

As the manager of the Westmore Orchard, Boundary Bend, Victoria, you will be accountable for the safety of all people on farm. You will ensure the effective utilisation of resources (people, equipment, water, inputs and land) and will develop a high performing and healthy team culture. Orchard Managers at Olam are responsible for tree health and identifying pest and disease, maximising yields, team culture and safety in order to deliver cost per hectare targets.

• people leadership and management
• irrigation systems
• orchard equipment and operation
• pest and disease identification
• cost effective implementation of agronomic programs
