Overview


The Children's Health And Development (CHAD) Team Leader is an experienced and highly competent clinician who provides quality professional leadership to a multi-disciplinary team of staff within Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network (BHFLHN) of South Australia.

The CHAD Team Leader is accountable for the multidisciplinary outcomes in community health settings; for addressing inconsistencies between practice and policy; and for developing team performance and a positive work culture in the interest of consumers outcomes.


The CHAD Team Leader undertakes operational management including the implementation of efficient contemporary models of service provision, monitoring service provision, data collection, contributing to quality and safety improvements and service evaluation for community health services provided through a variety of service models.

The Team Leader works with allied health and multi-disciplinary staff, managers and other stakeholders on models of care and workforce development initiatives, and as a member of the Community & Allied Health leadership team will contribute to operational planning for the program and ensure that all services are integrated with other key program areas.


Qualifications


Must hold a recognised qualification within the relevant Allied Health profession and be eligible for (full) membership of the relevant Professional Association.

For those professions requiring Registration all requirements to maintain current registration must be fulfilled. For self-regulated professions it is desirable to participate in the professional associations' accredited continuing professional development program.
