Your Chance
Youth Beat is a special mobile service that connects with young individuals on their turf, providing crucial services to some of society's most vulnerable youth, offering them a chance to change their lives positively.Your Main Responsibilities
  • Engage and support vulnerable young people aged 8 to 18 who are homeless or at risk
  • Assist young individuals facing multiple challenges
  • Build relationships and trust with young people
  • Identify the needs of young people and create appropriate referral channels
  • Participate in community events and activities
Success Requirements
If you have a strong background in youth, family, or social work, as well as experience in outreach work, this role might be for you. Required qualifications and skills include:
  • Tertiary qualifications and experience in Youth work or related field
  • Experience in engaging and supporting at-risk young people
  • Ability to work with individuals facing various challenges
  • Skills in crisis intervention and working with vulnerable populations
  • Previous experience with First Nations communities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capability to work in a team and independently
  • Valid driver's license required
