At CommBank, we never lose sight of the role we play in other people's financial wellbeing. Our focus is to help people and businesses move forward, to progress. The Credit Risk and CommAssets team performs a critical role for our customers and the Group.

One central role is the Comprehensive Credit Reporting (CCR) for all retail credit products including Personal Loans, Credit Cards and Home loans.

Ensuring we meet our regulatory CCR obligation is critical to this role. This involves on-going interaction with the credit bureaus and internal stakeholders.

Our teams have adopted hybrid working, where we complement coming into the workplace with working remotely. When the balance is right, we leverage the best of independent, focused time with in-person collaboration and connection.

On a day-to-day basis you will:

  • Assist with ongoing improvements to external CCR supply.
  • Support the analytical understanding of the use of CCR data.
  • Uplift existing and create new monitoring for CCR supply and consumption.
  • Support and implement any new data requirements.
  • Support the team in deep dives related to CCR customer queries.

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Credit Risk, Analytics, or Data Science experience within a Financial Services organisation.
  • Experience using data manipulation and statistical analysis tools, Excel, SAS, SQL or Tableau.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills, can problem solve and collaborate well with other colleagues.
  • Desire to further understand how CCR can impact customers and NPS.
  • Sound analytical, numerate and logical reasoning skills.
  • Recently graduated university with a study major in any of the following fields: Finance, Statistics, Data Analysis, Data Science or Engineering, Computer Science, Quantitative techniques/Finance, Actuarial Sciences or Mathematics.
