CBGU JV is currently engaged in Queensland's major infrastructure initiative and is assembling a top-notch team to prepare for the coming years. South East Queensland is on the brink of substantial growth leading up to the 2032 Olympics. CBGU JV is a collaboration between CPB Contractors, BAM, Ghella, and UGL, dedicated to delivering the Tunnel and Station Package for Brisbane's Cross River Rail. This includes constructing a 10.2-kilometre rail line between Dutton Park and Bowen Hills, with 5.9 kilometres of tunnel under the Brisbane River and CBD. The venture also entails building four new underground stations at Roma Street, Albert Street, Boggo Road, and Woolloongabba, the future site of the upgraded Olympic stadium.

As the Assurance Frameworks Manager, you will report to the Testing and Commissioning Manager. Your role involves establishing and executing the assurance frameworks to meet the needs of the engineering streams and Test Lab for all control systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing Control Systems Assurance documentation and process guidelines to support the business.
  • Efficiently managing Control Systems Assurance activities' definition, planning, and monitoring for the business.
  • Ensuring the effectiveness of the Control Systems Assurance and Governance regime, meeting safety outcomes and compliance requirements.
  • Fostering relationships with project stakeholders internally and externally to align with business objectives.
  • Overseeing the project setup, delivery, and completion, establishing relevant systems;
  • Monitoring project completion to ensure adherence to program, budget, quality, environmental, and contractual obligations, and initiating corrective measures when necessary;
  • Preparing accurate Safety Assurance and System Engineering reports.

Minimum requirements for this role:

  • Degree in electronics/electrical, software, or systems engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience for Systems Engineer, minimum 7 years for Senior Controls Systems Engineer
