This is why we are looking for enthusiastic Personal Bankers to provide outstanding levels of sales and service to our customers in our
Hobart branch.

To interact, understand their needs and provide advice and support with the customers best interests at heart.

This role is a permanent part time role across Monday to Friday. This role is a minimum of 30 hours per week with the opportunity to work additional hours depending on business demands.

What you'll do

  • Be first point of contact for customers attending the branch in relation to various banking needs including, setting up accounts, home loan enquiries, deposits, or withdrawals
  • Interact with customers face to face or by telephone and aim to provide a one call resolution
  • Respond to online customer enquires
  • Demonstrate the ability to listen, build trust/credibility and ask the right questions of your customer
  • Contribute to growth in the bank, across both lending and deposit portfolio's
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the community and business contacts to maximise financial services opportunities

What you'll bring

  • Demonstrated experience in a retail customer sales & service environment
  • Ability to provide outstanding customer service in current or previous role
  • Banking experience is not mandatory
  • Technology proficient; with proven experience using different software.
  • Excellent communication skills ability to convey and explain information, coherently and confidently both oral and written.
  • Strong time management, the ability to work autonomously and make effective decisions in a timely manner.
