We are thrilled to offer an amazing opportunity for a Senior Engineer to become part of our Survey Reporting team. This team plays a crucial role in developing and managing the survey reporting pages within our platform, along with the essential backend services that support them. Joining us means being instrumental in our growth from assisting 25 million individuals to 100 million, enhancing the global work environment.

Our team, which is known for its expertise, is currently focused on separating our frontend and backend processes from a monolithic structure to domain-based, event-driven services. Simultaneously, we are introducing innovative features for our customers. Recently, we introduced Culture Amp's first AI-powered feature, with plans to expand its integration across various domains soon.

Being part of the Engage Camp, you will benefit from the guidance of experienced technical leaders who are utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as serverless functions, event sourcing, and distributed event-driven services to revolutionize our technical framework.

What you'll add to Culture Amp

As a Senior Engineer, your role will involve leading technical discussions, providing insights, making decisions, and collaborating with engineers and stakeholders in the organization. You will drive feature development from inception to production ownership, ensuring high code quality, adherence to best practices, and effective monitoring and alerting. By teaming up with engineers from different departments, interacting with our talented designers, participating in client meetings, and contributing to our shared codebase, you can amplify your impact significantly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with fellow engineers to build, maintain, and enhance services following industry standards
  • Engage with product and design teams, as well as end-users, to understand their requirements and develop impactful solutions
  • Work collaboratively with team members through pair programming, solution design, and code reviews to ensure a unified approach to the work
  • Lead technical discussions, offer insights, and make decisions as part of a cohesive team

Requirements:

  • Proficient programming skills with expertise in a backend language like Ruby or Kotlin
  • Familiarity with Frontend languages is advantageous
  • Experience with Postgres database
  • Knowledge of distributed systems, event-driven architecture (e.g., Kafka)
  • Proven track record in building reliable, scalable software applications
  • Understanding of logging, monitoring, and alert systems
  • AWS experience, along with CDK and CI/CD proficiency
