We are currently seeking expressions of interest from motivated and passionate Audiologists for roles in various locations. Our clients have various urgent requirements for locum and permanent Audiologists with experience working with caseloads across the lifespan in both private practice and NDIS provider settings.

The role of Audiologist will see you assessing, treating and counselling people with peripheral or central auditory and/or vestibular function disorders of the ear, along with related problems in balance and communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Determining the most appropriate way to test a patient's hearing
  • Carrying out assessments and tests to identify hearing and communication issues to determine if there are any related medical or emotional symptoms
  • Designing, implementing and supervising hearing programs
  • Conducting external auditory canal examinations and ototoxicity monitoring along with identifying, diagnosing and managing auditory and vestibular system disorders
  • Referring patients to other health professionals where required for additional treatments, such as speech therapy
  • Operating and maintaining audiometric and other testing equipment
  • Testing and maintaining patient's implanted devices
  • Providing education, aftercare and ongoing support for your patients


Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Audiology, such as a Master of Clinical Audiology
  • Ideally registered with Audiology Australia
  • Previous experience as an Audiologist
  • Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills
  • Current police clearance
  • Current Working with Children Check (state specific) and NDIS worker check (where required)
  • Current driving licence
  • Full Australian working rights


Location:
Positions available will be based in metropolitan, regional and rural/remote areas throughout Australia.

Salary: This is dependent on your experience and location – this can be discussed in further detail.
