Senior Test Analyst

Great Southern Bank is looking for a seasoned Senior Test Analyst to join the team on a 12-month maximum term contract. In this role, you'll bring your expertise to drive testing strategies, covering essential areas like planning, stakeholder management, reporting, test automation, resource coordination, and risk/issue handling. This role is based at our Brisbane CBD Head Office, offering the flexibility to work remotely for two days a week.

Your Responsibilities:

- Actively engage with key stakeholders for internal and external projects
- Provide precise test estimates and oversee the defect management process and tools, ensuring the quality of reported items and compliance with the defined defect lifecycle
- Participate in testing forums to contribute new ideas, proficient in planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting
- Collaborate to identify, design, and develop relevant test cases
- Document test results, report defects, and retest resolutions
- Maintain test case traceability and documentation
- Conduct various testing levels (System, Integration, and Regression)
- Collaborate with the team to create and execute efficient automated and manual testing to meet project milestones
- Actively participate in the analysis of business specifications, solutions, estimations, and implementation decisions, as well as assisting in defining acceptance criteria

About you:

- Over 5 years of experience in Testing and managing complex integration projects
- Extensive familiarity with CD/CI tools like Jenkins
- Proficient with Jira, Quality Centre/ALM, or similar tools
- Knowledge of web usability and navigation standards, including web browser functionalities and constraints
- Demonstrated expertise in relationship management, consulting, negotiation, and facilitation skills
- Prior experience in the banking financial services or wealth management sector
- Solid functional testing skills in SIT, UAT, and Regression Testing, involving upstream and downstream testing, with a focus on data feed
- Understanding of various testing levels and types – functional, system, regression, user acceptance, stress, and performance
