Client Information:


The client has been operating since 1935 offering a wide range of unique hobbies, models, games, toys, and more to captivate and engage their audience.


Objective:


As a Marketplace Specialist, your main goal is to effectively oversee and expand the client's presence across various online platforms like eBay, Amazon, Catch, Kogan, MyDeal, Qantas Rewards, Everyday Rewards, and TradeMe.

By ensuring precise product listings, enhancing data quality, and collaborating with marketplace partners, your aim is to enhance sales and revenue.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams to identify growth opportunities and drive overall success.

Key Responsibilities:

Catalogue Management:

Overseeing and maintaining our product catalogues on the designated platforms, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with platform requirements.


Data Quality Enhancement:

Proactively identifying and correcting data inconsistencies and errors to improve the quality and reliability of our listings, thereby optimizing our visibility and performance on each platform.


Promotion Collaboration:

Researching, planning, and collaborating with marketplace partners to utilize promotional opportunities throughout the year to maximize sales and revenue.


Internal Communication:

Coordinating with internal teams to identify and capitalize on marketplace growth opportunities, sharing insights and suggestions to achieve business goals.


Qualifications and Skills:

Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role focusing on marketplace management, with a proven history of driving growth and achieving outcomes.


Marketplace Expertise:
A solid comprehension of key online marketplaces such as Amazon FBM and FBA, eBay, and Catch is crucial. Familiarity with other platforms is beneficial and can be gained on the job.

Analytical Skills:
Proficiency in analyzing marketplace data, recognizing trends, and deriving actionable insights to guide decision-making and enhance performance.

Communication Skills:
Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to efficiently collaborate with internal teams and external partners.

Adaptability:

The readiness and capability to adjust to evolving marketplace trends, technologies, and dynamics, keeping ahead of the game to sustain our competitive position.


Remote Work Readiness:
Demonstrating proficiency in remote work methodologies and technologies, guaranteeing smooth integration into remote work settings. This involves efficient communication, time management, and collaboration skills to maintain efficiency and achieve goals while working remotely.

Preferred Experience in ChannelAdvisor:
Familiarity with ChannelAdvisor, an e-commerce platform that offers comprehensive solutions for managing online marketplaces, is highly desirable. Experience or proficiency in ChannelAdvisor would be beneficial in streamlining and optimizing marketplace operations and workflows.
