Project Lead (12 Months Fixed Term)
Perth, Western Australia
Reach BeyondCHC offers top-notch helicopter support to the offshore energy market, search & rescue operations, government departments, and organizations in need of helicopter maintenance, repair, and overhaul services through its Heli-One division.

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual with a recent Project Management degree and at least one year of experience to join our team at CHC Helicopters.

The Project Lead position is for a 12-month Fixed Term at our office in West Perth.

You will oversee the startup of new bases, introduction of new aircraft into service, and integration of multiple systems across departments.

The successful candidate will collaborate with business leaders in Australian Operations for the implementation and management of highly integrated project teams.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
As the Project Lead, you will spearhead the implementation of various projects, offering insights to local business leaders and ensuring timely project delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:
Managing project changes for key business issues (e.g., training & communications plans, risk assessment, project management for maintenance, technical records, accounting, and flight safety data)
Acting as a liaison between CHC Integrated Management Office, standards organization, and functional departments to drive process improvement and transformation initiatives
Mentoring CHC functional teams based on research and analytical insights
Presenting impactful and intuitive recommendations
Leading discussions with internal clients and project leads to progress projects
Evaluating best practice initiatives collaboratively

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

The ideal candidate will have:
A project management degree with analytical studies in Commerce, Engineering, or Finance.
Strong business acumen and experience in re-engineering, change management, or project management processes.
Confidence, tenacity, and a drive to succeed
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
Capability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and handle sensitive issues.
Proficiency in MS Excel and Power Point; familiarity with SQL is a plus.
Experience in agile, dynamic, and diverse business settings.
Organizational skills and adaptability to changing environments.
Hands-on approach with a focus on success.
Experience in global matrix structures to achieve project objectives is beneficial.
