About the Role:
Basketball Referee - Casual

  • Day & Time: Must be available to work Wednesdays from 15:00 to 20:10
  • Must be available to work for 8 week High School Tournament
  • Date Commencing: Wednesday, 8th March2023
  • Location: Waverly, NSW
  • Pay is dependent on Qualifications and experience
Responsibilities and Duties

  • Teach the fundamental skills, rules and tactics of Basketball
  • Facilitate activities and modified games to a recreational group.
  • High energy referee that can engage and motivate students.
  • Plan creative sessions and be able to adjust to the needs of the group.
  • Pay is dependent on Qualifications and experience

Essential Criteria:

  • Must be available for the School Term (early
  • March to early April)
  • Must have a Working with Children Check Clearance number.

Experience Needed:1-2 years of Basketball referee experience.

Qualifications Needed:
The successful Instructor will be required to complete the free online coaching and officiating courses:
(1) The Community Coaching General Principles

(2) The Community Officiating General Principles.
