About The Role

The Ventia Critical Infrastructure team working within our telecommunications division, specialising in the design, procurement, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of critical telecommunications power and related infrastructure.

We are seeking an experienced Common Station facilities (CSF) designer join our friendly and fast paced Team.

What you'll be doing:

• Assist in the design of turnkey (CSF) (SMR) for telecommunications equipment, building and civil works to support installations such as Solar Power systems. Help the design and construction team to manage end to end projects including the forecast of materials, detailed quotes and engineering solutions for specific programs of work, monitor progress of completions against specified timeframes.
• Offer design support to Construction crews and in particular Construction Manager & onsite Supervisors.
• Liaise with suppliers in regard to products, warranties and delivery schedules and customers to meet desired design and project outcomes.
• Project Management including liaising with our customers and offering support to our installation personnel

About You

• Previous Telco experience undertaking CSF and SMR designs.
• Very good understanding and knowledge of CN1234 and other Telstra technical manuals
• Ideally 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
• A preparedness to work away from home as required. Audit/Survey telco sites
• Ability to use various computer packages including Excel, Access & Microsoft Office Suite programs, CAD experience would be advantageous.
