Our team are dedicated professionals who value the importance of maintaining an optimum level of care and education for all children with the value and vision to nurture children, their learning and commitment to families.

Based in the office 5 days a week

Key responsibilities include:

  • Relationship management with all families.
  • To encourage families to participate in Service decisionmaking and experiences.
  • Assist in the collection, recording and evaluation of children's records and observations, as required by Department of Education and Communities and the National Quality Standard.
  • Be familiar with the Early Years Learning Framework and utilise to inspire independent learners.
  • Be familiar with all families; greet all families on a personal basis. This will ensure mutual trust and open communication.
  • To share information with the family relating to their child and the daily activities of the 'Service'.
  • Maintain awareness of current issues in children's services.
  • Demonstrate an ability to work in partnerships with families.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Similar experience
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills and proven ability to negotiate.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to build relationships (essential).
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills or willing to learn
  • Holds a valid Working with children check
