Early Childhood Teacher

Permanent Part Time

24hrs 40mins per week
(Tuesdays 8hrs, Wednesdays 8hrs 10mins and Thursdays 8hrs 30mins)

Riverwalk Primary School Werribee, VIC. Riverwalk Primary School Kindergarten celebrates the cultural and linguistic diversity of this vibrant community. Riverwalk promotes inclusive and collaborative engagement with local communities. The Kindergarten offers both 3-year old and 4-year old sessional kindergarten programs.

You will be a great communicator who's passionate about helping children learn, grow and play. Our educational program aligns with the Victorian Early Years Learning and the National Framework. We are inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophical belief, that educators are co-learners who collaborate with children.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood);
  • Valid VIT Registration, WWCC and Police Clearance;
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and a mature approach; and
  • Prior experience as an ECT is sessional kinder.

What You'll do:

  • You will have the ability to design and implement a vibrant curriculum where each child's current knowledge, ideas, culture, abilities, and interests are the foundation of a playbased program;
  • You have the capacity to build a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement;
  • You will find creative solutions and have openmindedness and patience; and
