The Role


Join our industry leading Sales team as an Account Manager servicing our portfolio of manufacturing customers within the Food and Beverage sector, in this fast-paced, dynamic role.

With high potential for growth with our big name customers, we are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Account Manager who has ingredient Sales experience, with a food science background highly regarded.


The successful applicant will be trained in all aspects of our products and work closely with our Key Account Managers, Account Managers and Product Managers.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and deliver new business growth within your industry segment
  • Provide responsive account management and outstanding customer service to your existing and developed customers
  • Work closely with Product Managers to identify new opportunities, develop new customers and expand your product portfolio, increasing market share
  • Prepare and execute customer action plans to improve profitability and satisfaction
  • Capture market intelligence and competitor information
  • Offer astute insights and advice based on customer needs, to deliver appropriate solutions from our broad range of specialist materials.

About You
You are a seasoned Account Manager, proactive, dynamic and responsive in your approach to working with your customers.

You are comfortable working independently in your own territory as well as contributing as a valued team member in the wider ANZ sales team.

As a true sales person you thrive on challenge and love the thrill of the win. Attitude is everything in this position and the potential for account growth in this role is exceptional.

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • Well-honed knowledge in sales acquisition and tailoring solutions for clients
  • Posses experience in food ingredient Sales or a background in food sciences
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build longstanding relationships, negotiate and influence
  • Have a great reputation in the industry and able to build on existing relationships
  • Commercial acumen to truly understand the business development cycle, challenge current processes and offer insights to the product/technical management group
  • A high energy approach and ability to self prioritise work
  • Enjoy a highly flexible work environment with the drive to be autonomous
  • Some Sales Experience within the food and beverage space in NSW is required
  • Technical ingredient sales experience is very highly regarded
