We are an authorised seller of popular brands like MVR, Casemate, and Otter Box.

About You

  • A marketing qualification will be beneficial but not strictly required
  • Some experience (min. 1 year) in the marketing arena in a similar role
  • Content creation experience (min. 2 years) for companies, products, brands, influencers, or similar
  • High creativity in coming up with eyecatching content (still and video)
  • Onthepulse knowledge of current social media trends, best practices and effective strategies
  • A good understanding of marketing and social media
  • Solid organisational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to be flexible across a range of social media tasks in a week
  • Effective and clear communicate skills to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software including Photoshop, Illustrator as well as video editing software (such as Premiere Pro or Final Cut) is beneficial
  • Proficiency in graphic design would be beneficial
  • An interest in retail and technology would be highly desirable
  • Prior experience within the retail industry is a plus

The Role

  • Creating, maintaining and pacing a dynamic social media plan in support of the overarching marketing calendar.
  • Managing, creating content for, and monitoring the company's social media across all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) and for all our brands.
  • Staying up to date with competitors, and implementing current best practices, trends, viral formats, and hashtags where relevant.
  • Working under the umbrella of the marketing team, to support the company's marketing initiatives.
  • Working alongside Customer Service, interacting with followers by responding to them, or ensuring that they are responded to. Monitoring the mentions of the company in news feeds.
  • Using analytics and data to measure results of social media activities, and presenting strategies and key results.
  • Overseeing social media content creation, and/or creating content themselves. This includes still graphics or video content.
