What Should You Have?

  • Held Senior WHS Roles in Mining, Construction, Emergency Services, WHS
  • Must hold current driver's licence;
  • Hold current Cert IV in Training & Assessing (TAE) minimum;
  • Hold current Standard 11 Mining Induction Surface & Underground, S123, First Aid, Fire Fighting and G2 qualifications;
  • Ideally also hold current White Card, Work at Heights, Confined Spaces, Cert IV WHS, Dip WHS, HSR, Vertical Heights and Confined Spaces Rescue, Fire Fighting, Light Vehicle & 4WD;
  • Excellent trainer with a passion for training and great references from both students and clients;
  • Detailed working knowledge of AQTF and the VET system;
  • Sound understanding of national competencies and assessment instruments;
  • Demonstrated experience in developing learning and assessment resources;
  • Good with paperwork and compliance activities;
  • Able to work autonomously when required;
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Minimum 5 years work experience in either mining / construction / WH&S / education;
  • Ability to work various away from home and FIFO/DIDO rosters when training contracts require including weekend work;
  • Honest, trustworthy and reliable.
