About the Role

A new opportunity is now available with Certis Security Australia to join a fantastic team on the Gold Coast Light Rail. The Rail Safety workers, provide support to customers and uphold the safety and security of the light rail network. The position requires use of a mobile patrol vehicle so a drivers licence is essential. The roster also includes work mostly around weekends, so weekend availability is essential to be able to carry out the 8-week roster. Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain Safety and security in and around light rail network
  • Provide customer service and positive interactions with the public users of the light rail network
  • Work effectively as a team to provide support and security response to incidents on the light rail network
  • Communicate effectively in a team and in providing customer focus.
  • Follow and uphold the Light rail network policies and procedures

Qualification

Mandatory

  • Current Security Licence with Crowd Control
  • Current First Aid Certificate with CPR
  • QLD Drivers Licence
  • Australian/New Zealand Citizen or Permanent resident
