Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Evaluating repair projects across educational institutions, commercial establishments, and residential properties
  2. Assisting the project manager in preparing Requests for Quotations (RFQ's)
  3. Segmenting RFQ scopes into relevant trade disciplines
  4. Ensuring comprehensive information in RFQ responses for project fulfillment
  5. Supervising an Estimating team and overseeing Scope of Works for all projects
  6. Reviewing Estimates before submission
  7. Maintaining updated records of the purchasing quote register and trade quote summaries
  8. Collaborating with the designated supervisor for site-specific details
  9. Offering support to supervisors and contract administrators
  10. Aiding supervisors and contract administrators in assigning trades for projects
  11. Meeting all reporting guidelines and deadlines diligently
Key Selection Criteria:

Minimum of 5 years of Estimating experience with proficiency in estimating for projects up to $5m

Proficient in utilizing computer systems

Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal

Demonstrated expertise in negotiation and analytical capabilities

Adaptability to changing work environments

Strong aptitude for time management and organizational prowess

Ability to cultivate productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Integrity, positive demeanor, and strong work ethic

Valid and up-to-date motor vehicle license is a must
