:As one of our Electrical and Controls Engineers , your work will help power the future Joining the team based in Altona, VIC or Wacol, QLD you'll use your skills to work design and deliver BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) projects while working in collaboration with our sales team
You'll have a say in the specifications and selection of the best suppliers and subcontractors and contribute to the success and growth of our Off-Highway / Energy Solutions Team. With your knowledge and background, you'll be able to assist in the delivery of renewables projects and build fantastic working relationships across various areas of the business, including sales, projects and other engineering teams
About you:
Appropriate tertiary Electrical Engineering qualifications. Strong interest and knowledge of energy storage systems comprising of inverters, transformers and electrical switchgear. Understanding of power systems and control systems. At least 3 years' experience as an Electrical Engineer designing electrical systems. Experience working with PLC systems and protection relays. Fluent with AS3000, AS3008, AS 61439 and other relevant standards. Ability to select switchgear and electrical components for auxiliary distribution. Experience in an electrical switchboard production environment. Ability to produce electrical schematics, single line drawings, preferably auto-cad electrical.
