Ashford Hospital offers a range of specialties including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, general surgery, general medicine, gynaecology and maternity, oncology, orthopaedics, urology and vascular surgery. Ashford Hospital has 9 operating theatres, 1 procedure room, 2 angiography labs, an emergency department, maternity services and a 24 bed level 3 critical care unit.

Flinders Private Hospital offers a range of specialties including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, ENT surgery, general medicine, general surgery, gynaecology, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, plastic & reconstructive surgery, oncology and urology. Flinders Private Hospital has 9 operating theatres, a procedure room, 3 angiography labs, an Infusion Suite, a 24/7 Cardiac Emergency Service and a 10 bed level 3 critical care unit.

The Memorial Hospital offers a range of specialties including ENT Surgery, general medicine, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, orthopaedic surgery, paediatric surgery and plastic & reconstructive surgery. The Memorial Hospital has 8 operating theatres, a dedicated paediatric day stay unit and a level 2 critical care unit.

ACHA is seeking to recruit an experienced and dynamic Chief Radiographer to support our Angiography and Theatre teams. The Chief Radiographer is responsible for allocating and determining work priorities of the ACHA Angiography imaging team to ensure operational standards are met.In addition, the Chief Radiographer will oversee ACHA's radiation licensing requirements.

Ø Tertiary qualification recognised by the Australian Institute of Radiology (AIR)

Ø Radiation License from the Environment Protection Authority (EPA) to operate equipment relevant to the state of employment

Ø National radiation registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulations Agency (AHPRA)

Ø South Australian DHS Working with Children Clearance

Ø Demonstrated understanding of National Safety and Quality Service Standards, ACHA policies and procedures

Ø Ability to manage risk

Ø Management qualifications or previous experience as a Chief Radiographer, Senior Radiographer or Team Leader

Ø Radiation Safety Officer Certificate or at least 3 years' experience as a Radiation Safety Officer

Ø Post graduate qualifications in Radiography

Ø Knowledge of the Diagnostic Imaging Accreditation Scheme
