Statewest Group is the appointed Volvo Penta Dealer for the Goldfields region of Western Australia and delivers quality and reliability to the electrical & mechanical sectors of mining, industry, and government organisations. We are currently seeking an experienced Auto Electrician for workshop & site based work.
The role
Within this role you will be working alongside a small team of HD & LV Fitters, building your skill & expertise working on a diverse range of light and heavy vehicles and equipment. You should have well developed diagnostic / troubleshooting skills, self motivated and genuinely enjoy working as part of a team.
We are looking for someone who can bring a skill set and standard of personal conduct and values that will complement our team. What does this mean? You should have a passion for turning out quality work, a strong desire to provide an efficient service and support to our clients and a high level of personal integrity.
You
- Trade qualification as an auto electrician
- Demonstrated relevant experience in the repair and maintenance of various makes and models of heavy vehicles & mobile plant with the ability to diagnose and rectify mechanical faults
- The ability to read and interpret wiring designs and use technical data to its maximum potential.
- Self motivated, can work independently, but just as happy working in a team.
- Have effective communication and teamwork skills, and actively promote SWG values and purpose to our clients & community
- Happy to work in the workshop, or on site where needed.

- Super paid on all hours
- Increase your take home pay through salary packaging (if eligible)
- Choice between 5:2 roster, 10 hours per day or 5:2/4:3 10 hours per day– additional hours available
Preference will be given to Kalgoorlie residential applicants or those willing to relocate.
