Responsibilities:

  • Conducting functional behaviour assessments
  • Developing person-centered, evidence-informed behaviour support plans
  • Providing training and support to families and stakeholders in implementing behaviour support strategies
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of behaviour support strategies
  • Offering supervision to other PBS practitioners

Requirements:

  • Passion for supporting children and families with behaviours of concern
  • Registration with the NDIS Commission as a Proficient, Advanced, or Specialist Behaviour Support Practitioner
  • Relevant allied health qualification or equivalent, with at least 3 years of experience in developing behaviour support plans
  • Understanding of restrictive practices and associated reporting requirements
  • Compliance with necessary checks and certifications including National Police Check, Working with Children check, NDIS Workers Screening clearance, Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Driver's License & Vehicle
