My client, a Leading Brokerage Firm based in Sydney are currently hiring for a Senior Executive SME, Professional Lines person to join their Financial Lines team. They have created a new role for someone with SME experience to manage their Financial Lines SME portfolio.

‍Main responsibilities

  • Responsibility for a portfolio of SME clients (earn not exceeding ~$3,000) comprising only financial lines policies (PI, management liability and cyber)
  • Accountability for the management, servicing, developing and maintaining a designated client portfolio
  • Gather underwriting information and understand risk profile and foresee clients' insurance needs
  • Building and maintaining positive ongoing relationships with clients and underwriters
  • Advising clients on significant risks recommended areas of improvement and manage to a satisfactory conclusion
  • Provide a high level of customer service and advice to all clients across the portfolio
  • Staying abreast of changes within the insurance market and clients' industry sectors

Education & Qualifications‍

2 years financial lines broking experience

Tier 1 Compliance Essential

Knowledge & Experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to build and develop relationships and liaise with clients at all levels.
  • Customer service skills and business acumen.
  • The ability to manage your time and work on a number of tasks concurrently.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • The ability to work well in a team environment.
  • An understanding of client confidentiality.
  • Administrative and IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Account management skills.
  • Self-motivated with personal drive and ambition.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
