Who we are looking for - YOU

BVN is inviting expressions of interest from exceptional dRofus Support to join our Brisbane studio.

This is an exciting, dynamic position that requires an adept and experienced individual to significantly contribute to key projects at BVN.


You could be full-time or part-time; perhaps you are returning to work or studying; come to us with your situation.

The role:

  • Collaborate with the dRofus leadership team to implement and maintain the dRofus database on the project.
  • Work with project BIM manager to implement workflows for dRofus and Revit integration.
  • Assist project BIM managers in Revit family reviews in as much as it relates to dRofus.
  • Work with the project teams to produce project deliverables throughout briefing, design and documentation stages of the project. Deliverables may include Room Data sheets, Room layout sheets, schedules and the like.
  • Engage with project team providing technical support for dRofus and revit integration.
  • Attend / contribute to fortnightly dRofus managers meeting.
  • Maintain practicewide dRofus standards and workflows and implement on projects.
  • Mentor team members to develop dRofus knowledge and skill levels.

We are seeking someone with the following:

  • A minimum of 2 years of postgraduate architectural experience.
  • High level dRofus skills, or entry level dRofus skills with an appetite to rapidly develop.
  • Autodesk Revit skills (BVN's primary documentation platform).
  • An open and collaborative approach to problem solving with an ability to bring people together.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly drawn, written and verbal.
  • Ability to interpret requirements and prepare information in response to these.
  • A high degree of organizational skills.
  • Analytical skills with an ability to interpret data in a variety of ways.
  • Thoroughness: An ability to work with large amounts of data, agilely moving between micro and macro scale.
  • Collaboration: Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively and confidently with teams and senior leaders.
  • A positive, innovative and capable approach to problemsolving.
  • A general understanding of Australian Health Facility Guidelines (AusHFG) with an appetite to develop this.
  • Knowledgesharing: Proven capability to mentor others in the use of software, especially dRofus and Revit.
A high level of proficiency with the following software:

  • dRofus
  • Revit
  • Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Aconex or similar webbased documentation delivery systems
