GenesisCare have a brand-new opportunity for a Risk & Compliance Manager to join us in a national level role.

Supporting our newly appointed Head of Risk & Compliance, you will be responsible for supporting the design and implementation of a new Risk & Compliance framework in the organisation and provide SME expertise to all functions and leaders on managing risks effectively.

On offer is a 6-month maximum term contract full time position working 38 hours/week. With a flexible working location, we will consider applications from NSW/VIC/QLD/WA/SA.

More specifically, you will:

Design and implement the risk and compliance framework including drafting policies, SOPs and work instructions and provide training to tools and guidance to a diverse range of senior stakeholders Support business complete periodic risk and compliance assessments and mitigate strategic and operational risks as well as proactively develop and implement risk reduction strategies and report outcomes. Help the business develop metrics, indicators and alerts to stay on top of risks Design and conduct compliance training programs for management, employees and contractors to promote a culture of compliance and ethical behaviour. Foster a strong internal compliance, ethics and transparent culture by creating an environment where compliance is viewed as a strategic partner. Lead continuous improvement of reporting and completion of action plans in collaboration with legal, quality, operations, clinical and other stakeholders.

We're looking for someone who has:

6+ years' experience in a risk or compliance role. Exceptional project and change management expertise. Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence staff at all levels of the organisation. Strong background in developing and delivering training in compliance and risks. Detail orientated and ability to analyse large amounts of data and draw conclusions. Process improvement orientated with ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects at the same time. Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility. Effectively and independently works collaboratively with a wide variety of individuals. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information; utmost integrity and discretion of confidential and sensitive matters. Must possess excellent writing skills with ability to draft detailed, logical and comprehensive recommendations and decisions and explain complex compliance and regulatory concepts in plain English. Experience in healthcare industry strongly preferred. Certification in the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct is a plus. Ability to undertake interstate travel as and when required.
