This role will assist in the Black Summer Bushfire Recovery Grant Project to implement RFID technology into the Library Service and install book lockers and Wifi into bushfire affected communities at Megalong Valley and Mount Wilson to support the community.

It will assist in facilitating effective communication and liaison with the community and internal stakeholders, including developing knowledge of the local communities and spending time on-site in the community.

The role will provide practical project support and manage documentation, liaise with library and council staff, and undertake practical implementation of RFID across library branches.

This also includes supporting the recovery work for bushfire affected communities.

  • Proven interpersonal skills with ability to deal courteously and sensitively with members of the public and effectively respond to the needs of the community.
  • Demonstrated project support or project management experience.
  • High degree of computer literacy, including experience with communication and design technologies (e.g. InDesign / Photoshop / Illustrator, social media, web content, and eNewsletters).
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing written communications, graphic and visual design.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and independently with initiative, enthusiasm and flexibility.
  • Proven ability to identify priorities and be selfmotivated, meet deadlines and work with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Current Working with Children Check clearance required.
  • Capacity to attend meetings or events out of hours if required.
  • Class C Drivers' Licence

Salary:
commencing at $68,611.72 gross per annum.
