About the role

  • We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team.
Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Routine receipting and processing of specimens; including operation and maintenance of analysers
  • Pre and post analytical specimen handling
  • Identification and prioritisation of urgent specimens
  • Filing and storage of specimens and data entry
  • Assisting Scientists in the Lab as required
  • Continuous learning of processing requirements of different types of samples for different tests
  • Staying up to date with processing updates
  • Respond to result, sample requirements and general queries Identifying and resolving problems on at the preanalytic stage

  • Knowledge in ensuring compliance with quality control procedures, maintaining records, and following safety protocols in the laboratory
