About the role

Eastern Health has a comprehensive Neurology service including a Cognitive Neurology service. In this role a Neurologist experienced in the management of Cognitive Neurology conditions is required.

The successful applicant/s will be required to provide specialist clinic consultation for patients with Cognitive Neurology conditions whilst training and supervising neurology registrars.

Employment is available for 1 session per week.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:
Sub-specialty training and experience in the management of patients with Cognitive Neurology conditions, including fronto-temporal dementia and Alzheimer's disease.

Current medical registration with AHPRA

Post Graduate qualifications in neurology

Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience

A strong commitment to high quality care

The ability to work as part of a diverse team

Excellent communication and organisational skills
