Position Overview:
We are in search of an experienced, skilled, and enthusiastic Mechatronic Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team.
This role demands a high level of expertise in the design, construction, and commissioning of bespoke control systems, encompassing both hardwired and PLC-based solutions

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, construction, and commissioning of electrical and control systems for turn-key projects, managing the process from concept to reality.

Utilize our state-of-the-art fabrication shop, including onsite laser cutters and 3 D printers, to prototype and refine innovative solutions.
Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure projects meet functional, technical, and customer requirements.
Engage in hands-on programming, electrical design, drafting, and troubleshooting, using the latest technologies and methodologies to achieve project goals.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience in electrical and control systems engineering.
Familiarity with Functional safety standards (AS61508 / SIL), hazardous area classification and design, and GAMP 5.
Proficiency in PLC/HMI programming, ideally with Siemens software.
Experience in electrical drafting.
Strong project management and cost control skills.
Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.

Requirements:
Australian residency.

Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualifications.
Hands-on experience in a similar role within the High Tech R&D, Pharmaceutical, or related industries.
