Nurse Next Door (Sydney-Ryde region) is looking to build our care team with a variety of experienced home care workers with different skill sets and talents, who also have the passion to provide quality care to the elderly and people with disabilities.

Nurse Next Door is a rapidly expanding international home care service provider, which originated in North America more than 20 years ago and has been established in Australia since 2018.


Your Role
This position is hired for several established clients who are located in Glebe, Petersham, Darlinghurst and Bondi area. Main job scope includes domestic assistance, access to community and companionship. Weekend shifts are possible.

Your role may include, but is not limited to:

  • Providing transportation or accompaniment for shopping, appointment, or other activities
  • Supporting clients to participate in community activities
  • Assisting with meal preparation, grocery shopping, light housekeeping or other domestic duties
  • Engaging clients with past hobbies and interests

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent communication skills with very fluent English
  • Excellent driving skills and own a vehicle
  • Mature personality and good reliability
  • Current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain

  • NDIS Worker Check
