THE OPPORTUNITY
The Faculty of Health Science, Youth & Community Studies at Holmesglen provides a progressive, innovative and supportive teaching and learning environment with strong professional links and partnerships within the health and community services sector.
In addition, the successful applicant will develop and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with industry professionals and participate in the establishment of research activities within the faculty.
Salary:
$100,887 to $112,993 per annum pro rata plus 10.5% superannuation and annual leave loading.
Time Fraction:
Part time, 0.8 EFT position
Location:
Chadstone campus.
WWCC:
Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an 'employee' Working with Children Check.
Police Check:
Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
Position Status:
Appointment to 31 December 2023.
ABOUT YOU
- An experienced educational professional and leader with high level theoretical, educational and operational knowledge necessary to support the achievement of educational and business objectives.
- A thorough knowledge of the delivery of Higher Education programs including articulation/pathways and the ability to map appropriate credit transfers.
- A sound understanding of teaching strategies, learning materials development, and the ability.
- Significant experience as an academic teacher/lecturer within a vocational or tertiary education environment, specifically at an undergraduate level in the biomedical sciences discipline areas.
- A Masters, Doctorate or PhD post graduate qualification in the discipline of Biomedical Sciences.
