PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:


You'll be responsible for creating detailed test plans and test cases from business process models and systems designs, as well as providing status reports against test plans for stakeholders.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Define and document acceptance criteria for testing using various methodologies derived from the testing requirements, such as Waterfall, Agile and hybrid approaches.
  • Prepare test estimates, based on analysis of the test requirements, as required by project managers.
  • Develop test plans for various test phases, based on available project documentation, including system testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing and production verification testing.
  • Analyse and prepare test data as required for test examination to ensure products are fully usable and acceptable for release.
  • In conjunction with the Quality Assurance Manager, establish best practice policies, processes, templates and tools to ensure system products meet high quality standards.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma, advanced diploma or associate degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
  • Extensive experience in a Systems Group Tester role.
  • Demonstrated experience working as part of a Systems Group project delivery team performing activities to strict deadlines.
