Australian citizen with active or must be able to obtain NV1 clearance Overview: DFP is seeking an experienced Azure Platform Technical Lead to join our team for a Federal Government client.
The successful candidate will lead the development, implementation, and management of a robust Azure-based platform.This role demands strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and deployment of Azure-based solutions.
Provide technical guidance and support to development teams.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure platform solutions align with business requirements.
Manage cloud infrastructure and ensure its reliability, performance, and security.
Implement best practices for cloud computing, particularly focusing on cost management and scalability.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Azure platform.
Document and maintain system architecture, processes, and procedures.
Conduct regular assessments of system performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
Stay updated with the latest Azure technologies and integrate them into the platform as needed.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in Azure cloud platform and services.
Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and best practices.
Experience with infrastructure as code (Ia C) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using Power Shell, Azure CLI, or similar.
Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in Azure (e
g, Microsoft Certified:
Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Dev Ops Engineer) are highly desirable.
