As a senior practitioner in the People and Culture team you will work with internal stakeholders to identify and implement initiatives that continue to enhance our positive safety culture across our services.

As leaders in early and middle childhood education we have a long and established history in the sector providing diverse education and care services and professional development across NSW and ACT.


About the role:


You will lead our WHS and Wellbeing agenda and support enterprise risk management across the organisation by providing education and advice and driving process improvement.


Key aspects of the role include:

  • Contributing to business planning with a focus on strategic safety, wellbeing and risk elements
  • Designing and implementing initiatives to build on our positive safety culture
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders to facilitate safe work practices
  • Incident and injury management including management of workers compensation claims and return to work plans
  • Leading the WHS committee
  • Driving organisational risk awareness and management
  • Ensuring compliance requirements are met

About You:

We are looking for a committed and tenacious professional who is aligned to our purpose and will bring a fresh idea and an agile approach and who has:

  • Previous experience in a similar role working across multiple sites
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in WHS legislation and practice
  • Workers compensation management experience
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills
  • Attention to detail and great time management skills
  • Goal orientation and a solution focused approach
  • The ability to travel to regional NSW
