Financial Economic Crime in our
Wholesale Banking team.


We have a unique opportunity where from day 1, you will use your highly developed analytical skills to analyse some of Australia's largest companies and investment funds.


You'll have excellent attention to detail providing high quality outputs with an ability to think 'outside of the box' with a problem solving mindset.

Motivated and curious, you'll enjoy a fast-paced, complex environment where you'll use your exceptional thinking skills to recognise risks, and assess and formulate conclusions based on data.


What you'll do

  • Perform Know Your Customer (KYC) on Wholesale Banking clients

KYC involves:
Identification & Verification, Screening, Legal Tree Assessment, Red Flags Analysis and Overall Risk Assessment. The outcome is a Client Due Diligence (CDD) Pack. CDD Packs must be completed on time and to required level of quality.

  • Review Client Due Diligence Packs to identify any errors or omissions
  • Draw on KYC insights, create Knowledge Base which can be used for continuous improvement
  • Perform and/or review Wholesale Banking Transaction Monitoring
  • Contribute to KYC change initiatives and projects

What we're looking for

  • A graduate in either Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Engineering
  • A passionate, hardworking individual who is eager to learn with exceptional MS Office Skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with high engagement, perseverance and strong time management skills
  • Comfortable to work with tight deadlines
  • A highly analytical individual with ability to think out of the box with problem solving mindset
  • Motivated and curious person who enjoys fastpaced, complex environment
  • Exceptional thinking skills to recognise risks, able to assess and formulate conclusions based on data
  • Excellent attention to detail with high quality outputs
