About the role:

This position will work closely with the broader Corporate Affairs team and internal business partners to:

  • Develop and execute digital communications strategy and plans
  • Advise on digital service design and delivery to ensure outstanding user experiences
  • Proactively guide a strategic narrative through owned channels
  • Continuously improve metrics for sentiment and performance

What you'll deliver:

  • Develop content strategies and user experience or customer journey maps to guide an integrated communications plan through digital channels
  • Take a problemsolving approach to work, achieve required outcomes on time and to budget and demonstrate a strong commitment to a positive workplace culture
  • Provide quality assurance to ensure digital experience and content is accurate and in line with objectives and brand guidelines
  • Analyse and interpret data on user numbers, sentiment and performance to inform recommendations and improvements to digital channels to ensure consumer and stakeholder needs are met and ROI is achieved
  • Monitor broader digital trends, risks, issues and opportunities and advise the Corporate Affairs team

To succeed in the role you'll have:

  • A tertiary qualification in digital marketing, communications or related discipline
  • Experience and a record of achievement in digital communications and channel management gained in corporate, government and/or consulting organisations
  • Skilled editing and proofreading for digital channels with proven ability to know what constitutes accessible and effective content
  • Experience in the energy sector or utilities or other regulated sectors and understanding of the operating context is useful, but not essential.
  • A motivated, solutions oriented multitasker able to keep pace in a fastmoving environment
  • Ability to effectively manage and add value to external agency and internal business partner relationships
  • Welldeveloped organisational and project management skills with a proven ability to plan and prioritise effectively, navigate ambiguity and work with autonomy and accountability to achieve desired outcomes.
