Senior Ecologist

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Senior Ecologist role in our NSW team.

As a key member of our team you will have the chance to contribute your expertise to a variety of exciting projects including mid to large-scale renewable energy, stewardship, and infrastructure.

In this role, you'll utilise your project management and technical skills while mentoring, providing insights and working closely across our multi-disciplinary team. You will become a contributor to existing and future projects throughout New South Wales, and a driver for the development of our capabilities in the region.

A valid driver's license and Australian work rights are required for this role.

You will need to submit a CV and cover letter addressing the following required skills and attributes:

• Tertiary qualifications in ecology or related field
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in either consulting or the public sector.
• Experience in project management and budget control.
• Ability to develop and maintain meaningful relationships with stakeholders.
• Comprehensive report writing and proposal writing skills.
• Understanding of Commonwealth and NSW legislation and guidelines.
• Willingness to undertake long periods of fieldwork in both urban and remote locations.
